Fixed hours to be filled:

Day: Monday to Friday from 05h00am to 01:30pm

Salary: $17,85/h

Premiums (if applicable): Evening : 1,00$/h / Night : 3,00$/h / Weekend : 1,25$/h

Tasks:

Support pastry cooks by : 

• Cut cakes/biscuits according to established procedure;
• Sipping;
• Assemble circles;
• Assemble cream;
• Assemble entremets;
• Store (package) cookies;
• Make simple recipes (no “pasto” recipes);
• Lift weights of up to 25 kg for certain tasks;
• Pack products

Other related duties : 

• Keep superior informed of any problematic or conflicting situations;
• Actively participate in meetings and other organizational activities (including one-off projects);
• Support production in compliance with food safety procedures and various certifications;
• Support production in the application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
• Ensure compliance with the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy;
• Perform any other duties as requested by immediate supervisor.

Skills required:

• Physically fit to perform manual labor; 
• Ability to work in a standing, static position for long periods of time;
• Ability to work under pressure and in a hot, noisy environment;
• Good manual dexterity and speed of execution;
• Numeracy (knowledge and skills required to meet the mathematical demands of different situations);
• Time and priority management;
• Be vigilant, reliable and autonomous;
• Initiative 
• Oral communication in French or English;
• Have a spirit of initiative / team spirit and be able to transmit it;
• Be available to carry out unforeseen tasks;
