We are currently looking for a Head of Procurement.

Based at our Baie d'Urfé plant and reporting to the Logistics Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and negotiating the purchase of services and merchandise in accordance with Première Moisson's values, strategy and business challenges. In addition, he/she will have the role of estimating suppliers' abilities to deliver the expected performance in terms of costs, deadlines, quantity and quality of products and services provided to the company.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours

Main Responsibilities :

• Creates, updates and develops programs with manufacturers;
• Manages, with the help of his collaborators, the raw materials in concert with the management;
• Develops and maintains business relations with Metro, in order to create synergies and economies of scale for the network and the plants;
• Manages the purchase of A items, supply contracts and commodities for Groupe PM;
• Is involved in the supply chain activities of the various divisions of PM Group;
• Establishes the purchasing policy by developing and standardizing the procedures in place and ensures their application in the network according to the established standards and policies.
• Develops, structures, analyzes and improves Première Moisson's supplier base according to established standards and the supply chain strategy.
• Prepares and communicates to suppliers forecasts for raw materials, packaging, containers, etc., based on anticipated sales, quantities required and new products to meet production needs, following the just-in-time concept.
• In collaboration with the Marketing Department, researches and selects appropriate suppliers to meet raw and finished product needs.
• Keeps abreast of trends and processes by visiting major suppliers on a regular basis and shares information with relevant people and by attending major raw material exhibitions and trade shows.
• Renews agreements with suppliers by maintaining close business relationships and always obtaining the best quality/price ratio.
• Assists internal clients (partners, R&D) with specific supply-related challenges.
• Follows up with branches on the respect of established agreements (product quality, delivery times) and manages the situation with suppliers, in case of complaints.
• Measures supplier performance by ensuring product quality.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, logistics or supply chain management
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial field
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to provide fact-based reports
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong project management and negotiation skills
