Senior IT Technician

Première Moisson is currently recruiting a Senior IT Technician. Based at our administrative offices in Vaudreuil-Dorion and reporting to the IT Director, the person we are looking for will be primarily responsible for organizing and planning all technical support activities and will act as the right-hand man to the IT Director. Through his time and priority management (level 3 issues), he will be called upon to perform level 1 and 2 tasks himself. We are therefore looking for a versatile, team player who is not afraid to get his hands dirty on occasion! The candidate could also be called upon to manage a team of 3 computer technicians (replace the IT Director during his absences).

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate all IT activities during a branch opening (from planning to on-site installation);
• Manage the ticketing system between the 3 IT technicians and himself (for the whole Group stores, plants and corporate);
• Support the computer technicians as needed for minor problems;
• Travel to different locations of the company to service internal customers;
• Support the IT Director in the IT infrastructure and recommend ways to improve;
• Keep abreast of technological developments and suggest any possible improvements;
• Manage the team in the absence of the IT Director.

Requirements :

• DEC in computer science, networking or any other related field;
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Senior IT Support Technician;
• Advanced technical support skills (mastery of levels 1 and 2 and strong skills in level 3);
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10 and management of Windows servers, AD, MS-SQL;
• Experience in Cisco IP telephony (an asset);
• Experience in programming (an asset);
• Mobile for travel (expenses reimbursed);
• Ability to work in a team and known for excellent customer service;
• Fluency in spoken and written French;
