Our Première Moisson plant in Baie d'Urfé is currently looking for an Operator-Washer. The main responsabilities of the person we are looking for will be to carry out housekeeping in the various departments, equipment and machines, according to established procedures.

Shift: Day

Schedule: Schedule: Week 1 = Sunday 6am-6pm + Wednesday and Thursday 6am-6pm

Week 2 = Monday and Tuesday 6am-4pm + Friday and Saturday 6am-6pm

Salary starting: $21.93/hr

Premium when applicable: Evening: 1,00$/h / Night Shift: 1,75$/h / Weekend: 1,25$/h

Tasks :

Industrial cleaning

  • Assemble and disassemble equipment according to washing and sanitizing program
  • Carry out cleaning steps according to washing and sanitizing procedures for equipment and workplaces
  • Inspect cleaned equipment and report any non-conformities with a view to taking the necessary corrective action, and follow up on corrections
  • Ensure the proper condition and operation of all equipment and work tools used in washing and sanitizing operations
  • Communicate any equipment non-conformity to immediate supervisor
  • Perform various sanitation-related tasks

Health & Safety

  • Maintain work tools and report any functional problems to the supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Compliance with rules and regulations

Qualifications required:

  • High school diploma (DES)
  • (1) to (3) years' experience in food safety (an asset)
  • Training in cleaning and sanitation (an asset)
  • Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset)
  • Must be physically fit to perform manual work
  • Be vigilant, reliable and autonomous
  • Ability to communicate orally in French or English
  • Have a sense of initiative/team spirit and be able to pass it on
  • Good manual dexterity
