Pastry Assistant

Première Moisson manufactures and sells bakery, patisserie and charcuterie products using an artisanal approach and wholesome ingredients. We employ over 1,200 people and have more than 20 bakeries in Quebec and Ontario.

We are currently looking for a Pastry Assistant to carry out the pastry-related operations assigned, with constant concern for compliance with established standards in terms of product quality, recipes and presentation, while respecting hygiene, sanitation and occupational health and safety measures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares fruit and other products.
• Participate in the preparation of entremets, cakes, pasta and other products according to Première Moisson recipes.
• Bake pastries and tarts.
• Collaborate with co-workers to help them with their tasks.
• Participate in the assembly and packaging of food products.
• Apply Première Moisson's quality, hygiene, sanitation and occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma - Preferred
• Pastry work experience - An asset
• Ability to carry out supervisor's instructions
• Methodical, flexible, focused on product quality, results and teamwork
